Echo Season 1 (Web series) Release Date, Plot, and More

Echo Season 1 is an upcoming Marval Studios television series. It is based on the same-named Marvel Comics character. The show is made by Marion Dayre for the streaming platform Disney+. It is a spin-off of the series Hawkeye (2021) and is set to be the eleventh television series in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) created by Marvel Studios.

The series will share continuity with the franchise’s films. Returning to her homeland, Maya Lopez is forced to confront her history, reaffirm her Native American heritage, and love her family and community. Dayre acts as the show’s head writer, and Sydney Freeland is in charge of the directorial staff. 20th Television also produces the television show.

Echo Season 1 Release Date

Alaqua Cox was revealed to have been cast as Maya Lopez/Echo in the Marvel Studios’ Disney+ series Hawkeye (2021) in December 2020. By March 2021, Marvel Studios was in the early stages of developing a Hawkeye spin-off for Disney+ that would centre around Cox’s Lopez, with Etan Cohen and Emily Cohen slated to pen the script and serve as executive producers. The series was formally introduced as Echo during the Disney+ Day event in November 2021, and Marion Dayre was now working as lead writer in place of the Cohens.

The shooting phase started on April 21, 2022. Beginning on November 29, 2023, Echo will be available in its entirety on Disney+. The previous Marvel Studios series had weekly releases; Echo will be the first to have all of its episodes broadcast at once. It is anticipated to be a component of MCU Phase 5.

Echo Season 1 Expected Plot

Maya Lopez returns to her homeland of Oklahoma after the events of Hawkeye (2021) in New York City, where she must face her history, reestablish contact with her Native American ancestry, and accept her family and community.
