Sofia’s acting career started with a lot of nepotism and negative reviews. Although she is the daughter of rich and famous parents, she never tries to show herself as weak. As an infant, she made a background appearance in eight of her father’s films. She was best known in The Godfather. In 1992, Sofia Coppola met her ex-husband Spike Jonze who is an American Director. The couple married in 1999 and they divorced in 2003 due to some private reasons.

After this, Coppola met French musician Thomas Mars during a soundtrack recording of ‘The Virgin Suicides.’ They welcomed their first child, daughter Romy Mars who was born in November 2006. Coppola gave birth to their second child, daughter Cosima Mars, in 2010. The same year, she, along with her partner and two daughters, moved from Paris to New York City.
