Dr Arora is an upcoming Indian comedy-drama web series. The creator of this series is Imtiaz Ali. Sajid Ali and Archit Kumar has directed the series. Kumud Mishra, Vidya Malavade, Sandeepa Dhar, Shekhar Suman and Raj Arun are playing the lead role in the series. It is going to release on 22nd July 2022 on Sony LIV app. The story of the series is about a doctor who deals with sexual problems of people.

Release date and Availability

The official YouTube channel of Sony LIV released the trailer of the series on 4 July 2022. The series released on 22 July 2022.

Storyline

It is an eight-episode series that shows a heartfelt love story of Dr Arora, set against the backdrop of his train journeys from Sawai Madhopur (Rajasthan), Morena (Madhya Pradesh), Jhansi and Agra (Uttar Pradesh) — where he runs clinics and pursues his passion of treating people. The story is about a Gupt Rog Visheshagya, Dr Arora, who cures sex-related issues of the patients. But, will he be able to find a cure for the widespread social stigma attached to essential topics like sexual health?

This web series is all about sexual problems in Indian society. Welcome to Dr Arora’s sex clinic; he can cure everything from erectile dysfunction, nightfall, and premature ejaculation to gonorrhoea. Without making it an uncomfortable watch, the story focuses on these concerns and how far a man can go to hide problems. This show is much-needed look into the issue of toxic masculinity, rather than just the sexual element.
