Kumud’s Family Details –

Kumud Mishra was born in a Hindu Family. His father was in the Indian Army as well as a theatre artist. Also, his father used to motivate him to join theatres in Bhopal.

If we talk about his married life, then Kumud Mishra is married to Ayesha Raza. This couple tied the knot as well as took vows on 9th February 2008. Ayesha is also a famous bollywood actress.

This couple had a son whose name is Kabir or Kabbu.

Career –

Kumud Mishra has also joined ‘Bharat Bhavan Culture Centre’ in Bhopal. He had also acted in several plays there. He has also worked with famous theatre directors like Sachin Tiwari, John Martin, Bansi Kaul and many more. He has also got an opportunity to work with Prabhat Ganguly’s The Little Ballet Theatre.

In 1989, Kumud Mishra has also participated in festival of India in USSR. Then, in 1990 he took admission in the esteemed ‘National School Of Drama’ in Delhi and earned diploma in acting by hardworking. Over there, Satyadev Dubey who was the famous theatre actor as well as director, was his guru.

Satyadev also called him Mumbai for the audition of ‘The Making of the Mahatma’ in 1996. Also, this film was directed by Shyam Benegal. Kumud Mishra as well as Rajit Kapur got selected as top two finalist. But, Rajit Kapur got selected. But still he didn’t stopped there and also he didn’t losses his hope.

He was also the part of a famous theatre named ‘Prithvi Theatre’ for more than 20 years.

Then, finally in 1995 he got a chance to prove himself and appeared in the Tv serial named ‘Swabhimaan’. Also, this serial was used to aried on DD National.

Then, in 1996 he made his Bollywood debut with the movie named ‘Sardari Begum’. He didn’t got projects for good movies so he decided to continue with theatres only.

But in 2007, he got a good project in Bollywood with the movie named ‘1971’. In this movie, he worked with Riva Kishan as well as with Manoj Bajpaiyee. Although, this movie has helped in getting many more future projects.

In 2011, he also appeared in a movie named ‘Rockstar’. Although, his character of ‘Khatana Bhai’ in this movie helped him to gained many followers. Not only this but his dialogues were also became very popular. Then he has appeared in many Bollywood films.

Kumud Mishra along with 2 members has also founded a theatre group named ‘D for Drama’. Although, In 2017, his theatre group was selected or nominated in 5 Categories for META awards 2017 for directing the play ‘Dhumrapaan’. But they didn’t received the award.

Apart from movies and theatre, he has also done web series. In 2017 he had also appeared in a web series named TVF Tripling season 1.

Although, he was a very talented as well as a scincere actor. But still he haven’t received any awards.
