Ranjan Raj is a famous Indian actor. He came into limelight after playing the role of “Meena” in TVF’s Kota Factory. He has worked in many other films and series like Chhichhore, Rustom, Lots of Love, Bala etc.

Ranjan was born on 18th May 1994 in Arwal, Bihar. Currently, he is 28 years old. Not much information is available about his family. He has a sibling. His name is Krishna Raj.

Ranjan completed his primary schooling from a local school in Bihar. Then after that he made it to IIT. He cracked the IIT exam and got himself enrolled in IIT Bombay. But in the 2nd year he dropped out from College. During graduation, he took part in many theatre plays. Later his mother encouraged him to become an actor.

Career

Raj began his career by working in a drama movie named “Shuruwat ka Interval” in 2014. He played the role of Ticket collector in this movie. Later in 2014 he wa starred in a short film named “Raju”. This film was based on a young scholar who goes through all the odds just to handover a homework to his professor.

After that Ranjan did many other films. He also did a short film named “Lots of Love”. Movies like Chhichhore, Rustom, Helmet and Bala featured him.

Ranjan in Kota Factory

Apart from movies, he is also quite popular on OTT platforms. In 2017, he played the role of Ranjan in the TVF Series “Bisht, Please!”. In 2019, he appeared in TVF’s web series “Kota Factory” in which he played the role of Balmukund Meena. He was appreciated all over because of his amazing acting skills. Ranjan was also recently seen in MX original series named “Campus Diaries”.

Recently, he appeared in TVF’s series named Dadugiri. This series was released on 6tg May 2022. The plot of the web series revolves around Dadu and his grandson Giri and their misadventures. Giri is always involved in trouble. Luckily, his grandfather always finds a way to help him.
