Faisal was born and brought up in Allahabad. He is a very private person. Not much information is available about his family. He was not good in studies. When he was in 10th, he gave the exam 5 times. In the 5th attempt he cleared his 10th exam. Then after 12th standard he moved to Lucknow for completing the college course. He did Btech from Lucknow. Then his father sent him Mumbai to do MBA but he chose acting.

Faisal also suffered a major personal loss when his father succumbed to Covid-19.

Faisal is an Indian producer working for the Hindi film industry. He is a well-known producer and produced some of the biggest hits of Bollywood. He has worked in many films like Gangs of Wasseypur, Revolver Rani, Main Aur Charles, and Smoke. L played the role of Inspector Gopal Singh in Gangs of Wasseypur, which was an action, crime and drama film. It was one of the most liked movies by the public and got so much popularity among the younger generation of India. Anurag Kashyap was the director and writer of the films with Akhilesh Jaiswal was the co-writer.

He has also been starred in various web series. Recently his new web series Panchayat season 2 is going to release. In this series he is playing the part of Prahalad Pandey.
