Panchayat Season 2 is the sequence of the famous Indian web series, Panchayat. This web series is a comedy-drama produced by Arunabh Kumar and directed by Deepak Kumar Mishra. Jn this series, we will see many talented actors, including Jitendra Kumar, Raghuvir Yadav, Chandan Roy, and Neena Gupta, in lead roles. Moreover, the series is made under the banner of The Viral Fever.

Release date and availability 

Panchayat season 2 is also going to release on 20 May 2022. The web series will be aired on Amazon Prime Video. Hence, the prime members can quickly and exclusively adapt to this. Also, Amazon Prime recently launched the trailer for Panchayat 2 on 9th May 2022.

The cast of Panchayat 2

Jitendra Kumar

• Jitendra Kumar belongs to a family of engineers. His father was also a civil engineer.
• Since his childhood, Jitendra has loved to mimic various film stars.
• Moreover, he completed his B.Tech (Civil Engineering) from IIT Kharagpur; during his graduation, he won a bronze medal in Hindi elocution.
• Jitendra also shared that once, his seniors told him to do English elocution along to Al Pacino’s ‘Scent of a Women’ in 1992. When he performed, his seniors praised him.
• Then, when his first TVF video, which came in 2012, he played the role of an overly sensitive corporate intern- “Munna Jazbaati: The Q-tiya intern.” The video also went viral and crossed 3 million views within a few hours of its release on YouTube.
• Jitendra also has widely known as Jeetu Bhaiya. Jeetu Bhaiya’s role came into the limelight when he portrayed this role in Kota Factory, the popular web series by TVF in 2019. 
• Moreover, Jitendra also made his appearance in the popular Hindi movie Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan.

Raghubir Yadav

• Raghubir Yadav was born into a modest family of farmers.
• Yadav developed an interest in acting since his childhood.
• However, Raghubir failed in 11th standard after which he ran away from his home and joined a Parsi theatre in 1967, and worked there till 1973.
• From 1973-1974, Yadav worked at the Rangoli Puppet Theatre in Lucknow.
• From 1977 to 1986, Raghubir also worked at the National School of Drama (NSD), New Delhi, where he refined his acting skills to the next level. 
  
• As an actor, Raghubir has done more than 70 plays and 2500 shows.
• Moreover, he is a loyal supporter of ‘Aam Aadmi Party’ (AAP).
• Raghubir also confessed that If he wasn’t an actor, he would have been a farmer.

Chandan Roy

• In 2020, Chandan appeared in the Amazon Prime Video web series “Panchayat ” as Vikas (Gram Sahayak).
• Now, he is going to appear in Panchayat Season 2.
• He also debuted with Kannada film Yaanaa.

Neena Gupta

• She is a well-known Indian actress.
• Moreover, Neena’s mother wanted her to become an IAS officer.
• Neena also used to play hockey while she was in college.
• As per the sources, she also got married at the age of 16 with a boy from Calcutta who was an IIT Delhi pass out. However, the marriage lasted for only two years.
• Then, she completed a three-year course from the National School of Drama in 1982.
• In 1985, Neena also appeared in the Hindi TV serials. She acted in various TV serials, like Daddy (1989), Drishti (1990), Saans (1999), Siski (2000), Jassi Jaissi Koi Nahin (2004), and Kitani Mohabbat Hai (2009).

Pooja Singh

• Pooja Singh is also a growing Indian Actress, who hails from Jammu & Kashmir.
• Also, Pooja made her acting debut in the Hindi television serial “Aasman Se Aage.”
• She had also worked with comedy with Kapil Sharma in Comedy Ka Naya Daur (2011).
• She has also appeared in the seasons of Panchayat web series.
