Home Shanti is an Indian web series directed by Aakanksha Dua and aired on Hotstar. This web series also stars Supriya Pathak Kapur, Manoj Pahwa, Chakori Dwivedi, Poojan Chhabra, and Happy Ranajit in pivotal roles. Moreover, Posham Pa Pictures produced it. This series also revolves around the Joshi family and their dream of becoming homeowners for the first time.

Release date

Home Shanti web series was also released on 6 May 2022. This series is also aired on Disney+ Hotstar. Home Shanti’s first trailer was also launched on 25 April 2022:

Supriya Pathak

• Supriya Pathak is a veteran actor born to Gujarati theatre artist Dina Pathak, also a Kathiawadi Gujarati, and a Punjabi father, Baldev Pathak. Also, her father is also a dressmaker for the stars Rajesh Khanna and Dilip Kumar.
• Supriya also debuted in Bollywood with the movie  Kalyug in 1981.
• Her debut in the television industry was also with the famous TV series Khichdi in 2002. This was also aired on Star Plus.
• She also appeared in the movie named Khichdi.
• She also got remarried to Pankaj Kapoor in 1988. Pankaj’s son Shahid Kapoor was then six years old.

Manoj Pahwa

• Manoj Pahwa is a well-known Indian television and film actor.
• His father was also born in Pakistan, and his mother was from Uttar Pradesh.
• Manoj also met the popular Indian actress while he was working with the theatre group ‘Sambhav Group.’ Soon, they became friends and fell in love with each other, and on 23 January 1988, they got married to each other.
• In 2017, there were rumours that his son got engaged to Shahid Kapoor’s sister.
• Pankaj has also worked in various theatrical productions of ‘Mandi House,’ ‘Sambhav Group,’ ‘All India Radio,’ and ‘Doordarshan.’
• Afterward, Pankaj moved to Mumbai from Delhi with his family to pursue his career in acting.

Chakori Dwivedi

• Chakori Debnath was born and brought up in Dehradun, Uttarakhand.
• At first, she also worked in many theatre plays.
• She is also associated with Drama School Mumbai.
• She also played a supporting role of Shanaya Gonzalez in Mr.&Mrs web series of Girlyappa.
• Now she also got tge opportunity of playing the lead role Jigyasa Joshi in the Home Shanti web series.

Poojan Chhabra

• Poojan Chhabra is a well-known actor and model who is known for his role in the web series Kota Factory in 2019. 
• Moreover, Poojan was also fond of acting and drama since childhood, and used to perform at various drama series in his school.
• He also started his career as a model and walked the ramp for various renowned designers. Afterward, Pooja started featuring in various television commercials for brands like Nestle and Coca-Cola.
• He also made his acting debut in the year 2019 with Raghav Subbu directed Hindi-language web series titled ‘Kota Factory.’ 
• Poojan Chhabra also rose to limelight after the announcement of his association with Hotstar Special for their web series ‘Home Shanti.’

• Happy Ranajit is an Indian Soap Opera and movie actor and also a director. 
• Also, Happy appeared in BA Pass, Omerta and Hostages.

• In 2022, he also appeared in a comedy series named Home Shanti.
• He also played the character of Pappu Pathak in this series.

Yamini Singh

• Yamini Singh is an Indian actress who is known for her work in Bhojpuri films.
• She also grew up in a middle-class family in Pune, Maharashtra.
• Yamini also made her Bhojpuri film debut with the 2019 Bhojpuri film “‘Patthar Ke Sanam” in which she played the role of Madhuri.
• In 2019, she also appeared in the Bhojpuri film “Lallu Ki Laila.”
• In 2019, Yamini also appeared in many hit Bhojpuri films including ‘Chhaliya,’ ‘Premgeet,’ and ‘Pyar To Hona Hi Tha.”
