Drishyam 2  is an upcoming Hindi-language crime thriller film. This film is directed by Abhishek Pathak. The film is a remake of the Malayalam-language film of the same name which was released in 2021. Also, it is the sequel of the 2015 film Drishyam. This film is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Kumar Mangat Pathak, Abhishek Pathak and Krishan Kumar. The lead actor of this film is Ajay Devgn returning as Vijay Salgaonkar along with Tabu, Shriya Saran. Akshaye Khanna was added to cast in a key role. The movie is announced to release worldwide theatrically on 18 November 2022.

The storyline of Drishyam 2

It is the sequel to the 2015 film that has announced after 7 years of the first film. Vijay is determined to protect his family and for that, he is ready to cross any limits. This time as new evidence comes to light he plans new strategies to fight the legal system and save his family from going to prison. In the film, Ajay Devgn and Shriya Saran will be repeating their roles in previous films and Tabu as IG Meera Deshmukh. However, the makers have kept Akshaye Khanna’s role under the wraps, and it will be interesting to see how his character adds to the storyline.

On 21 June 2022, Ajay Devgn and Tabu announced the release date of this film through their respective social media handles. The film will release in theatres on November 18, 2022.
