Early Life and Family

Before her birth, Reem’s family lived in Oman. Later her father shifted to Mumbai in connection with the business. Reem’s early education was completed at Gyan Kendra School in Lokhandwala, Mumbai.

Acting addict from childhood, she started acting at just 6. At the age of 6, she got her first photoshoot done, for which she got 300 Rupees. Reem Shaikh has been very fond of acting and dancing since childhood, and she started taking dance and acting classes at a very young age.

Shaikh started her career as a child actor at 6 with Neer Bhare Tere Naina Devi.

She was later seen in the show Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha as Rimjhim and Mishri in Diya Aur Baati Hum. She gained popularity with her portrayal of young Kaurwaki, the wife of Emperor Ashoka, in the show Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat opposite Siddharth Nigam.

In 2018, she guest-starred as Sanaya Seth on Colors TV’s popular show Tu Aashiqui. In the same year, she booked the lead role of Kalyani Malhar Rane in Zee TV‘s new show Tujhse Hai Raabta.

She played Malala Yousafzai in the biopic Gul Makai, in 2020.

Since 2022, Shaikh has been seen as Paakhi Srivastava Raichand in Colors TV’s Fanaa: Ishq Mein Marjawan opposite Zain Imam and Akshit Sukhija.

She is earning approx 30,000 INR per episode on TV-Serial. Her main source of income is acting and advertisement.
