On August 20, 2021, Srushti Jayant Deshmukh marries Arjun Gowda in the presence of her parents and relatives. Arjun is an IAS officer as well, and his full name is Dr. Nagarjun B Gowda.

She has always wanted to be an IAS officer; that has been her passion since she was a child.
Despite being a Chemical Engineer, she chose Sociology as her UPSC 2018 optional subject.
Srushti has always participated in extracurricular activities throughout her school and college years. She also possesses an NCC A certificate.
Srushti avoided social media in order to concentrate on her civil service preparations. She never took any civil service coaching and instead studied from online resources.

In the year 2018, she took her first UPSC examination. She succeeded in the first time. In her first attempt, she came in fifth place. Srushti was an exceptional girl who not only passed the exam on the first try, but also created an amazing image in India and finished fifth overall.

According to her, she intended to give the UPSC Examination only one chance, and if she failed in her first attempt, she would not have attempted again.
