Ranjitha

Actress Ranjitha is from India and was born Sri Valli. Several Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu, and Kannada movies include her acting.

Ranjita starred in her first Telugu movie in 1991 as Madhu Bala Kadapa Reddemma. The Parchuri Brothers wrote it.   Prema Panjaram, her second film, was produced that year. Both movies weren’t particularly successful financially, but she went on to star in Bharathiraja’s Nadodi Thendral, which gave her a wonderful platform.

She withdrew from acting in 2000 after getting married to a Major in the Indian Army. In 2002, the couple divorced. She made a comeback in 2003 and continued working until 2010 in both lead and supporting roles in movies and television programmes. She commenced sannyasa in 2013 under Swami Nithyananda.

Sun TV aired a video tape in 2010 that purported to capture Ranjitha and Nithyananda in a bedroom. Tamil Nadu’s news media went viral after publishing the tale.
