Early Life and Education

Tenneti was born on June 5, 1992, and raised in Raipur, Chhattisgarh. She attended J.R. Dani Girls School for her early schooling and Agrasen Mahavidyalaya for her bachelor’s degree. Tenneti developed a liking for modelling during her last years of college and started competing.

Career

Tenneti became well-known as a model in 2014 after placing as a finalist in Miss India 2014. She then became a publicist for several national fashion companies and modelling agencies.
She has appeared as a model in a number of fashion events, such as Lakmé Fashion Week, for well-known designers including Manish Malhotra and Rajesh Pratap Singh. Tenneti has also graced the covers of a few fashion and lifestyle publications, including Grazia and Adorn.

After first finding popularity as a model, Tenneti transitioned into acting in 2020, debuting in the action-drama series “The Forgotten Army: Azaadi ke liye,” which featured Sunny Kaushal, Najmun Nisha, and Rajvir Chauhan, as Rasamma, a character that appears on a regular basis.
Both spectators and critics praised Tenneti’s performance, which was a highlight of the critically acclaimed production. She made her debut on the silver screen the following year in the drama film “Vaazhl” directed by Arun Prabhu Purushothaman.

In 2023, TJ was seen in a Netflix original series titled, Guns and Gulaabs. The “Misfits of the World”-inspired television series combines criminality with the wistful romantic stories of the 1990s. In Hindi, the phrase Guns & Gulaabs is named after the American hard rock group Guns N’ Roses. It became available on Netflix on August 18, 2023. In a series, Kumar Sanu sang the love ballad “Do Raazi” for Rajkummar Rao.
