Vishal made his small screen debut in 2007 with Kuchh Is Tara. He became well-known for his portrayal of Aayan Nanda in the programme. He later played with Gurdeep Kohli, Ram Kapoor, Vivian Dsena, and Gautam Gulati in the famous TV series Kasamh se as Rishi Tyagi. Vishal rose to prominence in 2010 as Jigar Modi in the romantic family drama series Saath Nibhana Saathiya. For six years, he was a part of the show. In 2018, Vishal made his acting debut in Kumkum Bhagya.
