Aari’s debut movie was Aadum Koothu. The movie was screened in multiple film festivals. This film received the ‘Best Regional Language National Award. He did many south Indian movies after that.

In 2021, he became the winner of Bigg Boss Tamil. He received a cash prize of Rs. 50 lakhs and a winning trophy.
