Aasif Sheikh is a well-known Indian film, stage, and television artist. Aasif also portrayed the role of Prince Ajay Singh in Hum Log. Early life, family, and education of Aasif Sheikh

Aasif Sheikh was born on 11 November 1964. His birthplace is New Delhi, India. He attended Saint Anthony’s School. He also completed his primary education in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. After school, Aasif initially enrolled in Khalsa College, Delhi, for a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Honours. Then, he turned to Hotel Management. However, he soon dropped out to pursue theatre.

Aasif Sheikh was married to Zeba Nigar (Zeba) Sheikh in 1989. The couple also has two children, daughter Maryam Nastasia, born in 1990, and son Elijah Iman, born in 1995.

Aasif Sheikh is associated with the Indian People’s Theatre Association(IPTA), Mumbai. Moreover, Aasif has appeared in plays like Kabuliwala, Aakhri Shama, Simla Coffee House, Hum Deewane Hum Parwane, Ek Baar Phir, and Aaall izz Well with Shuturmurgh Ek Baar Phir,Oye Ki Gal Hain, Pyaar Mein Kabhi Kabhi. One of his famous plays is U-Turn, co-starring Poonam Dhillon.

He made his debut in 1998 with the film Rama O Rama as Vicky. In the same year, Agneekal and Qayamat Ki Raat.

In 1990, he appeared as Ashok Singh in the movie Muqqdar ka Badshah. He also appeared in Haque (1990). In 1991, he also appeared in Pyar Ka Saudagar, Yaara Dilbara, Swarg Jaisa Ghar, Lahu Luhaan. Afterward, in 1992, he appeared in Naya Sawan, Sone Ki zanzeer, Aparadhi. Aasif appeared in Ishq Mai Jeena Ishq Mai Marna (1994). In 1997, he also appeared in Mrityudaata, Banarasi Babu, Auzaar, Kaun Saccha Kaun Jhoota, Dadagiri, Aur Pyar Hogaya, Ek Phool Teen Kaante. Again, In 1998, he also appeared in many films, including Pyar Kia Tih Darna Kya. In 1999, he also appeared in Haseena Maan Jayegi.
