Adaa Khan is a well-known Indian TV actress and a model. She is best known for appearing as Akashi in Behenein, Amrit in Amrit Manthan, and Shesha in Naagin. She was also a part of Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 10 in 2020.

Early life and family of Adaa Khan

Adaa Khan was born on 12 May 1989. Her birthplace is Mumbai, Maharastra, India. Her Zodiac sign is Taurus. 

Adaa Khan was born to Muslim parents. Her father’s name is Abbas Khan and her mother’s name is Parvin Khan. However, her mother, Parvin Khan died due to cancer in 2013. She also has a brother named, Imran Khan.

Education

Adaa Khan did her graduation in English Literature. She also completed her master’s in Sociology. After completing her studies, she joined the call center in Mumbai. Here, she also worked at the salary of Rs15,000. 

Relationships and controversies of Adaa Khan

Earlier, Adaa Khan was in a relationship with Ankit Gera. He is also an actor. She confessed that Ankit Gera cheated her thrice. Hence, soon their relationship ended. The end was obvious when she came to know that he was also in a relationship with actress, Roopal Tyagi.

Career

One day Adaa Khan was sitting at a coffee shop in Mumbai when someone offered her a print ad for Pantaloons. Afterward, she started modeling and doing print advertisements. She also did many TV commercials like- 

• Tide Naturals, 
• Havells Bulbs, 
• Godrej No. 1, etc. 

Then she started getting offers from the television industry. Not only TV serials but she is also very active in reality TV shows. She is also a good dancer. She also took part in multiple comedy performances on several reality shows and TV serials as well.

She started her acting career in 2009. Her acting career began by playing the role of Anita Kulkarni in the TV serial, Palampur Express. 

In February 2020, Adaa Khan entered a new sho named Behenein. This show was also aired on Star plus. The story was of four rich and beautiful sisters. She was cast opposite Manoj Mishra as Aakashi Shastri. Moreover, she played the role of third sister and a parallel lead. However, the show ended in April 2011.

Then from 2012 to August 2013, Khan got her first leading role in Director’s Kut Production drama named Amrit Manthan. She was aslo portrayed as the heroic Princess- Amrit Kaur Sodhi. This series was then Broadcasted on Life OK. The plot story was also about two sisters who become enemies of each other.

She also appeared in episodic roles such as-

She was also part of the reality show named Welcome2: Baari Mehman Nawazi Ki.

She was also approached to play the title character in the supernatural series named Dayaan. However, she rejected the project to play the lead in another supernatural series titled Vish Ya Amrit: Sitara. This series was aired on Colors TV on 3 December 2018.

In May 2019, she also appeared as a guest star in the final few episodes of Naagin 3 aired on Colors TV. This was a supernatural serial with much popularity.

Afterward in 2020, she was a contestant in Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi.

Then she appeared as a guest star in the final few episodes of Naagin 4 in 2020. Mouni Roy also appeared in this show.
