His Career

As an Actor

In 1968 Akkineni Nagarjuna started his acting career in a Telugu movie, named ‘Sudigundalu’. However, he worked as a child artist in this movie. Then, in 1986 he debuted for the lead role in the movie ‘Vikram’. Also, This movie was the remake of popular Bollywood movie named ‘Hero (1983)’.

Then he has hosted a famous Telugu quiz show named ‘Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu’ which is a version of popular hindi quiz show named ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’. Also, his favourite Actor ‘Amitabh Bachchan’ made a special appearance in his film named ‘Manam’ in 2014.

He has not appeared only in romantic as well as in action movies, but has also done some devotional movies such as Sri Ramadasu, Annamayya and Shirdi Sai. Although, he is famous for his good look as well as from his acting skills.
