Akshay Oberoi’s father is a Businessman whereas his mother is a Housewife. His elder brother, Rishabh is an owner of Paani Puri Clothing. His uncle’s name is Suresh Oberoi, an actor. He is famous for being the cousin and brother of an Indian actor named ‘Vivek Oberoi’.

If we talk about his relationship status, then he is married to Jyothi Vynatheya. This couple tied the knot on 24 March 2011. She is a strategy consultant. They both meet during school days at Newark academy and dated for more than 10 years before getting married.

Career

Akshay Oberoi learned acting in New York and Los Angeles. He has also worked as a financial analyst in an investment banking company named ‘Goldman Sachs’.

He started by doing a comedy-drama film named ‘American Chai’ in 2002. In this movie, he played the character of Neel. Then, in 2010 he appeared as Vivaan in the film ‘Isi Life Mein’ which brought disaster at the box office. In 2014, he played a role in a horror movie named ‘Pizza’, a remake of a Tamil movie.
