Anjali Sivaraman was born in October 1997. Her birthplace is Bengaluru, Karnataka. Her father’s name is Vinod Sivaraman, is a former Air Force pilot. Anjali’s mother, Chitra Sivaraman (aka Chitra Iyer), is a playback singer and her sister, Aditi Sivaraman, is a filmmaker, actor, and model.
From 2012 to 2013, Anjali did a diploma in art and design from Srishti Manipal Institute of Art, Design and Technology, Bangalore. Afterwards, Anjali pursued a diploma in art and design from the University of the Arts London, UK, from 2013 to 2014.
Career
In 2014, Anjali Sivaraman started working as a hospitality staff at RE Hospitality in London, UK. After returning to India, Anjali started working as a model in Bangalore. Afterwards, she shifted to Mumbai and started working as an assistant director. Anjali then auditioned for a TV commercial and got selected.
Sivaraman has appeared in various TV commercials such as La Shield, Sofy, Whisper, and Tinder. She has also worked as a model in the print advertisements of popular Indian fashion designers like Sabyasachi Mukherjee and Masaba Gupta.
On 2 July 2013, she, and her mother, started a software company named Darkhorse Productions Private Limited in Bangalore. In 2017, Anjali debuted as an actor in the Hindi short film ‘Jenny’ in which she played the titular role. Anjali also played the role of Meera in the Alt Balaji Hindi web series ‘PM Selfiewallie’ (2018).
Moreover, Sivaraman is also a singer and has uploaded a few cover songs on her self-titled YouTube channel including “Unchained Melody” (2018), “La Vie En Rose” (2018), and “Hurt You” (2019).
In 2020, Anjali also appeared in another Hindi short film ‘It’s Complicated.’ She was roped in the 2022 Netflix Hindi film ‘Cobalt Blue’ in 2022. Recently, she appeared on the Netflix series named ‘Class’.
