Atul Kulkarni is an Indian actor, producer and screenwriter. He primarily works in Hindi, Marathi, Kannada, Malayalam, Tamil and Telugu language films. Kulkarni has also won the National Award for the Best Supporting Actor for the films Hey Ram and Chandni Bar.

Atul was born on 10 September 1965 in Balgum, Mysore. His zodiac sign is Virgo. Atul completed his primary education from Haribhai Devkaran High School, Solapur, Maharastra. His father was a businessman and his mother was a housewife. His family was well settled in Solapur. Kulkarni completed his diploma in acting from National School of Drama, New Delhi in the year 1995.

He got married to his long time girlfriend. His wife was a theater actress. Her name is Geetanjali Kulkarn. He met het at the National School of Drama.

Career

Atul started his career by acting in the stage shows from his school days. He participated in the Maharashtra State Drama Competition from 1989 to 1992. Atul has won many awards for his acting as well as for Drama-Direction. He started his career in the industry with the Sandalwood movie Bhoomi Geetha. This movie was directed by Kesari Haravu in 1997. He has acted in many movies in different languages like Marathi , tamil , telegu, hindi etc.

Atul was inclined towards acting since his childhood. One by one he started getting offers from different directors.

He has appeared in many movies like Mere pyaare Prime Minister, Junglee, Manikarnika, Wild Dog etc.

Not only in movies but in web series also he has shown his talent. He has acted in web series like City of Dreams, The Raikar case, Bandish Bandits and Rudra and much more. The audience love to see him in screen.
