Early life and schooling

Bhumi Pednekar is of Marathi along with Haryanvi descent. Moreover, Satish Pednekar, father of Bhumi was a former home and labour Minister of Maharashtra. Later, father died of oral cancer. Subsequently, after the death of her father, her mother started working as an anti-tobacco activist. 

Moreover, she did her schooling at Arya Vidya Mandir, Juhu. After that, her parents admitted her to Whistling Woods International. Therefore, she started learning acting when she was only 15. Parents of Bhumi also took a study loan. However, due to poor attendance, she was expelled. After that, within a year and a half, she joined Yash Raj Films as assistant film director. For this reason, Bhumi succeeded in paying off her study loan. Accordingly, continued six years of her assistance here.
