The acting was Irani’s passion during school and college days. He took his acting lessons under acting coach Hansraj Siddhia in the early 1980s and embraced professional acting techniques. Irani favored British theatre, and he soon learned different accents. Irani started off by featuring in advertisements such as Ceat, Fanta, and Krackjack biscuits.

Boman Irani began his acting career in 2000. He came to the industry after spending many years in theatre. He made his Bollywood debut with the film titled Everybody Says I’m Fine. His amall but remarkable role in Darna Mana Hai gained him attention. After the release of Munna Bhai M.B.B.S. in 2003, Irani became famous. His role as J. Asthana garnered him a Filmfare Award nomination for Best Comedian.
