Deven Bhojani is an actor and filmmaker from India. He is well known for his work as a comedian on numerous TV series. He has been in a number of popular television shows, including Sarabhai vs Sarabhai, Office Office, Khichdi, Mrs Tendulkar, and others. Deven also directed Commando 2: The Black Money Trail, a Bollywood film starring Vidyut Jammwal and Adah Sharma, in 2016.
Deven Bhojani was born to a Gujarati family in Mumbai, Maharashtra, on November 25, 1969. He attended Gokalibai Punamchand Pitamber High School in Vile Parle and graduated from SVKM’s NMIMS in Mumbai with a bachelor’s degree in commerce. He also went to the University of Southern California to study film direction.

• He began his career as a theatre artist, performing in a number of Gujarati plays.
• In 1987, he earned his first break in the TV series ‘Malgudi Days,’ in which he played Nitya.
• Deven worked with director Mansoor Khan on the film ‘Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar’ in 1992. In that film, he also played Aamir Khan’s best friend Ghanshyam aka Ghanshu.
• He was the creative director for the hit TV show “Baa Bahoo Aur Baby” (2005-2010). In that serial, he played ‘Gopal Labhshankar Thakkar/Gattu,’ earning him the nickname ‘Gattu.’
• In 2004, he directed and acted in Season 1 of the popular TV series “Sarabhai vs Sarabhai,” which aired on STAR One. In 2017, he also directed and acted in the second season of this show, which aired on Hotstar.

• Deven co-produced the TV show ‘Bhai Bhaiya Aur Brother’ in 2012.
• He appeared in a number of films, including Agneepath (2012), Khichdi: The Movie (2010), and Yeh Lamhe Judaai Ke (2004).
• He rose to fame after portraying Patel in the TV series Office Office.
• Deven has directed the TV film Commando 2: The Black Money Trail in 2017.
