Early life, family and education of Gautam Gulati

Gautam Gulati was born on Friday, 27 November 1987. His birthplace is Delhi. His zodiac sign is Sagittarius. He also did his 11 th and 12th class at L. S. Raheja College of Arts & Commerce in Delhi. Afterward, he pursued his graduation from Hansraj College in Delhi. Gautam also belongs to a Jatt or Khatri Hindu family. His mother’s name is Anurag Gulati. He also has an elder brother named Mohit Gulati, who is a businessman.

Career

Gautam Gulati started his career as a model and has worked on various modeling projects. He also debuted as an actor in the mythological serial, ‘Kahaani Hamaaray Mahaabhaarat Ki’ in 2008. Ekta Kapoor also directed this serial. Also, in this show, he played the role of young Duryodhana.

Reportedly, the show received huge criticism and is considered one of the worst shows on Indian television. Again, in 2008, he appeared in the Zee TV’s serial, ‘Kasamh Se,’ in which he played the role of ‘Varun Sahil Bali.’ Then, he did cameo roles in the TV serials, ‘Tujh Sang Preet Lagayi Sajna’ in 2008 as Teji and ‘Pyaar Kii Ye Ek Kahani in 2010 as Shauraya Khanna; a gay character in the serial.

Spotlights

Afterward, he came into the spotlight with the popular TV serial, ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ in 2011. Also, here he played the character of ‘Vikram Arun Rathi.’ However, he quit the serial ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ in 2014 to participate in the popular TV reality show, ‘Bigg Boss 8’ 2014. Moreover, his decision to leave the show to participate here was right and he got immense popularity and love from the audience. Hence, he won the trophy of ‘Bigg Boss 8.’

In 2014, Gautam also did two short films- ‘Darpok’ and ‘Siddhartha- The Buddha.’ He also is the first Indian television actor to attend the Cannes International Film Festival for the screening of his movie Darpok (Coward) in 2014.

Afterward, in 2020, he hosted the TV reality show, ‘Mujhse Shaadi Karoge,’ aired on Colors TV. He also appeared to play an important role in the Bollywood film ‘Radhe’ (2020) starring Salman Khan.

In 2015, Gautam was so featured in the music video ‘Teddy Bear’ along with Kanika Kapoor and Ikka Singh.

At first, Gautam Gulati was in a relationship with an Australian girl, but later, they broke up due to some personal issues. As per reports, while he was in Bigg Boss 8 house, he was very close to his co-contestant, Diandra Sores. However, Gautam also addmitted that that was just an attraction. 

Controversies 

Gautam Gulati’s intimate moments with his co-contestant, Diandra Sores received huge criticism in Big Boss season 8 House. Moreover, he went into the bathroom along with Diandra and didn’t came out for long. They also left their microphone outside. Diandra & Gautam kissed in front of live Cameras in Bigg Boss 8.

• After completing his graduation, he started working as a model.
