Intro to Gracy Singh

Gracy Singh is an actress and dancer from India who has appeared in films and on television. She is best known for her roles in the movies Lagaan (2001) and Munna Bhai MBBS (2003). In the year 1998, she made her Bollywood acting debut in the film Sar Utha Ke Jiyo. Gracy is also involved in the television industry, having appeared in episodes such as Santoshi Maa, Prithviraj Chauhan, and Amanat.
Gracy Singh was born in New Delhi, India, on July 20, 1980, to Swaran Singh and Verjinder Kaur. She comes from a Punjabi family that is quite conservative. Rubal Singh and Lisa Singh, her brother and sister, were her childhood companions.

Gracy attended Manav Sthali School in Delhi and graduated with honours. She has competed in numerous dance competitions. She is a Bharatnatyam and Odissi dancer with much experience. Career of Gracy Singh

Singh, who was born in Delhi, India, began her career as a member of the dance ensemble “The Planets.” Amanat, a television soap opera, was her debut acting job. She subsequently went on to play a country belle opposite Aamir Khan in Ashutosh Gowariker’s epic sports movie Lagaan. She was nominated for a Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut for this performance, and she won the Screen Award for Most Promising Newcomer – Female for it.

Singh went on to star in a number of successful Hindi and Telugu films after Lagaan, including Munna Bhai M.B.B.S. and Santosham. She’s also appeared in Punjabi films like Lakh Pardesi Hoye and Jayaraj’s Malayalam film Loudspeaker.

In 2015, Singh made his comeback to television, starring as Goddess Santoshi in the &TV series Santoshi Maa.

In 2021, she appeared in Santoshi Maa- Sunayein Vrat Khathayein as Santoshi Maa.
