Intro to Gurmeet Choudhary

Gurmeet Choudhary is an Indian actor and martial artist who was born on February 22, 1984. He is well known for playing Rama in the 2008 television series Ramayan, Maan Singh Khurana in Geet – Hui Sabse Parayi, and Yash Suraj Pratap Sindhina in Punar Vivah – Zindagi Milegi Dobara. 
Gurmeet was born in the hamlet of Jairampur in the state of Bihar, India. In his birthplace, the Gurmeet Choudhary Foundation opened a post-Covid specialised care centre. In his hometown, his older brother works as a general practitioner.

Family and Relationship

He got married to Debina Bonnerjee secretly in 2006 in a temple. Although, their parents didn’t know about that marriage. But, on 15 February 2011, they both got married officially, with the consent of their parents and family. After some time, their fans got this fantastic news, then they joined the name of Gurmeet and Debina both and gave this couple the name “Patnivrata”.

Career of Gurmeet Choudhary

• Gurmeet Choudhary made his television debut as Gurmeet in the Hindi TV series Yeh Meri Life Hai in 2004.
• He was cast as Lord Ram in the NDTV Imagine TV series Ramayan because of his eyes (2008-2009).

• He and his fiancée Debina Bonnerjee appeared on the reality TV show Pati Patni Aur Woh in 2009.
• After this, he portrayed Maan Singh Khurana, a business magnate, in Geet – Hui Sabse Parayi.
• Gurmeet Choudhary took part in season 5 of the dance reality programme Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa in 2012. He was also the season’s winner.
• In 2013, he won Nach Baliye Shriman vs Shrimati, a dancing reality show.
