Hair Routine For Beginners

Published

on

The hair deserves as much love as your skin does. The hair is now getting the same loving treatment as the skin. It should be like this. The foundation of such a premise is that the ingredients for your skincare can also help your hair thrive. Consider how your scalp and hair endure the same cluster of sun and pollution.

Ergo, taking care of your hair is good. They deserve to be given love and affection. As such, it is time for you to start treating your hair with more love and concern!

Hair Type

First, you have to determine your hair type. For skincare, we’ve had brands like A313. There is also Embroylisse. Both can work for sensitive skin types. With hair, we need to have the same approach. Likewise, with skin, you need to figure out first what kind of skin type you have; with hair, you also have to do that. Determining your hair type requires more than just knowing your hair texture. There are also factors involved.

First, you have to do a strand test. With the strand test, you have to take a hair strand between your fingertips, and if there is no visible feeling, you may have fine hair. Your hair is of medium width if you feel the presence of a single strand. However, if the hair is thick or in texture, it is likely coarse.

If there is anything easier than determining your type in dating, you can use a hair type quiz to assess your hair type. It will also help narrow down the products that you need to make the most out of your hair. Your hair tends to change with the seasons. As such, you may need to adjust your routine slightly as the seasons change.

Shampoo

Don’t shampoo your hair every day! Doing so is unhealthy, especially if you have thick or curly hair! By overwashing your hair, you can strip and rob them of their natural oils and proteins caused by dryness. Wash your hair up to two (2) to three (3) times a week, depending on how oily your hair becomes.

If you do wash your hair, avoid sulfates. They can cause frizz and thus make your hair harder to manage. On the other hand, shampoos on the market have now been tailored for hair types. For example, hydrating shampoo can be used for dry hair.

Dry shampoo can also be your best friend should you go out on days when you can skip out on the shower. Just get enough product on your roots. They will soak up the oil from your hair. Be careful, though: do not overuse dry shampoo. It has oil, which can result in dryer hair.

Conditioner

Lastly, it would help if you had a conditioner. It locks in moisture. When you use them, just put them on the tips of your hair. Please leave it in for a few minutes. After that, wash the conditioner from your hair.

Drying

Lastly, you need to dry your hair. Friction might hurt your hair, so avoid cotton towels. You can blow dry up to seventy (70) percent of your hair. An ionic hair dryer also works better than a regular one.

Wrapping Up

A hair care routine needs to be tailor-fit for your hair. Depending on the season and occasion, you may need to make more adjustments. Don’t forget: do your homework! Be wise when researching, and remember to be mindful about your hair!
