Hiba Nawab is an Indian Television actress and  model who got the fame and popularity as‘Amaya’ in the Television serial ‘Tere Sheher Main’. She also played a lead role in Meri Sasu Maa which was aired on Zee TV. Now, Hiba is working in a daily soap called “Jijaji Chhat Par Hai”, as the lead actress on SAB TV.

Early life, family and education

Hiba Nawab was born on 14 November 1996. Her birthplace is Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh, India. Hiba attended Bishop Conrad Sr. Sec. School, Bareilly whereas she did her graduation from her hometown Bareilly. Hiba wanted to become a lawyer since her childhood but destiny took her into the world of acting and modeling. She hails from the Muslim family. Hiba’s father name is Dr. Nawab Firoz Ali and mother name is Heena Ali and also has one younger sister.

Affairs and relationships

Hiba Nawab was rumoured to be in a relationship with her co-star Pearl V Puri whom she first met him on the sets of ‘Meri Saasu Maa’. However, Hiba denied the rumour and described them as ‘ Baseless’. She says, “I am a very possessive person and can’t see my husband or boyfriend romance another actress on screen. And if you marry an actor, that is not possible!”

Career

At the age of 12, Hiba Nawab started her acting career as a child artist with the TV serial‘Ssshhhh…Phir Koi Hai’ (2008). Afterwards, Hiba has appeared as a child artist in many TV serials like ‘Saat Phere – Saloni Ka Safar’, ‘Lo Ho Gayi Pooja Iss Ghar Ki’, ‘Crazy Stupid Ishq’, etc.

In 2015, Hiba gave a special appearance in the popular TV serial ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’. Nawab rose to fame from the TV serial ‘Tere Sheher Mein’ in which she played the role of ‘Amaya Mathur’ (Amu) for which she also won the STAR Parivaar Awards in the category of Most Stylist– Female in 2015. As a young artist, Hiba has appeared in the TV serials- ‘Meri Saasu Maa’, ‘Bhaag Bakool Bhaag’, ‘Jijaji Chhat Par Hai’, etc.

Controversies

On May 2016, she trapped into the controversy when her ‘Meri Saasu Maa’ co-star Aanchal Khuranaspreadd the news that Hiba and Pearl V Puri was growing intimacy on the sets of the show which created  a problem for all the crew members but after listening to the news. Hiba went directly into Aanchal’s room and started shouting and abusing Aanchal, the situation became difficult to handle for the directors and the producers.

• In 2018, she won Dadasaheb Phalke Awards in the category of Best Romantic Couple fr the TV serial ‘Jijaji Chhat Per Hain’ in which she has played the role of ‘Elaichi’.
