Q & A with Rising Actress Tiffany Rothman

Q: How do you feel that the SAG/AFTRA strike has come to an end?

Tiffany Rothman – A:  I am relieved. It was stressful. Especially when I auditioned a great deal before the strike started.

Q: Did you start any new hobbies during the strike?

Tiffany Rothman – A:  I have my own dance classes, both online and in a workshop in Los Angeles. However, I applied to become a member of the Group Theater Rep at Lonny Chapman Theater and was accepted. I’ve been doing some hosting/usher work and getting to see the great plays that the theater puts on. I also took a couple of classes at the theater with a wonderful teacher, Carmen Milito. It is a pleasure to be a part of the Group Theater Rep!

Q: Can you share some of your recent or upcoming projects?

Tiffany Rothman – A: My recent upcoming project is on Prime. The film is called “WHAT DOESN’T FLOAT,” produced by Pauline Chalamet and Rachel Walden and directed by Luca Balser.

On December 9, 2023, the film “ANXIOUS” had a private screening at the Fine Arts theater. I play a shop owner in the film.  The film “ACCIDENTAL GETAWAY DRIVER” is being screened at different film festivals as well.

Q: Did you have any new memorable experiences on set?

Tiffany Rothman – A: I always have a lot of great memories from working in films and theater. There is one scene on set for “ANXIOUS” that was funny because the two actors who faced me are real-life physicians. Someone said, “How often do we have three doctors in the same scene?” since I have a doctorate in Counseling Psychology. The scene was so amusing to work on. We will have to see how it’ll play out in theaters. That’s all I will say about “ANXIOUS”.

Q: Are there any red-carpet events lined up?

Tiffany Rothman – A: The major red carpet event for me took place from November 8th to November 17th, with the Asian World Film Festival. I attended and met one of my favorite film star Kieu Chinh, along with the executive director of Asian World Film Festival, Georges Jojo Chamchoum.

As of my last update in January 2022, specific details about future red-carpet events might not be available. However, major award shows like the Oscars, Grammys, Golden Globes, and various film festivals typically feature red-carpet events. These events showcase glamorous attire worn by celebrities and are known for their media coverage and interviews with stars.

Due to the dynamic nature of the entertainment industry, schedules for such events are subject to change based on circumstances like global events, industry decisions, or public health concerns (such as COVID-19). For the most current information on upcoming red-carpet events, I recommend checking reliable entertainment news sources or the official websites of these award ceremonies and festivals.
