Ishita Mangal was born in 1991. Her birthplace is Delhi, India. She was always passionate about fashion and design and pursued her Bachelor of Design in fashion design from the National Institute of Fashion Technology, Bangalore, India. After completing her degree, she also went to Milan’s Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti, where she did a short fashion design course to enhance her skills.

Career

Ishita Mangal launched QUO in 2012 as part of her college project, and later developed it into a complete designer label in 2013. QUO is a women’s wear label. It also typifies the modern woman who is constantly evolving and steadily taking over the corporate society. She also founded QUO with a vision of delivering good quality, well-fitted, and perfectly tailored products with edgy cuts. Her label is known for its stunning evening gowns, structured vests, summer brunch dresses, and other outfits for social outings.

Ishita’s talent and hard work have been recognized by the fashion industry. Also, she has been invited to showcase her designs on the Gen Next platform of Lakme Fashion Week Winter Festive 2015. Her collection at LFW, ‘Misprision of treason,’ was inspired by the people engaged in the investigation of a crime scene. Her designs are currently retailing from some of the top fashion outlets in India and internationally from Gnossem in Singapore.
