Jahnvi Kapoor is the daughter of Late Sridevi, a well-known actress. Her father is named Bony Kapoor . the son of the founder of the Anil Kapoor film company- Surinder Kapoor. They are in close relationship with the film actors Anil Kapoor and Sanjeev Kapoor.

Kapoor started working in the film industry in 2018 with the movie Dhadak that Shashank Khaitan directed, and her co-star was Ishaan Khattar. The film was a blockbuster in Indian cinema.
