Josh Kiszka and his brothers launched the rock band Greta Van Fleet in 2012, and their songs have attracted a significant mass. Jake and Sam, brothers of Josh, play the role of Guitarist and Bassist, respectively. His friend, Danny Wagner, is the main drummer.

Josh signed his contract with Lava Records in 2017, and after one month, he launched their first EP (Extended Play), titled Black Smoke Rising, in the same year. In November 2017, they released their second EP, From the Fires, and won the 2019 Grammy Award for the Best Rock Album category. In October 2018, they released Anthem of the Peaceful, which rose on the Billboard charts for most listened to music within a week of release.
