Mallika Singh is a famous actress in the Indian Television industry. She is best known for her TV debut with Star Bharat’s mythological drama serial ‘RadhaKrishn’ in 2018. Moreover, she portrays the role of ‘Radha‘ in the serial. Also, this show is based on the epic love saga of Lord Krishna and Radha. She is actually from Jammu, but once she came to Mumbai, Maharashtra, to visit her maternal aunt instead got selected for the role of Radha opposite Sumedh Mudgalkar. Mallika Singh was born on 15 September 2000. Her birthplace is Jammu and Kashmir, India. She also belongs to a Hindu family. Moreover, she has one younger sister. Her mother’s name is Ruby Singh. Ruby is also a choreographer and a classical dance teacher in Jammu.

Education and early career

Mallika Singh completed her schooling at Seven Square Academy School. According to her, she was never interested in acting. She also confessed that it was only after her mother’s insistence that she gave the auditions for the role of ‘Radha.’ 

Career

Mallika Singh was in 10th standard when she gave the auditions. After a long gap of two and a half years, the producer of Star Bharat’s ‘RadhaKrishn,’ Sidharth Kumar, informed her that she was selected. She also said that she got the role of ‘Radha’ because of her innocent looks and personality. 

In 2014, She appeared in a cameo role in the Punjabi film Kirpan: The Sword of Honor. Then, In 2017, she auditioned for Star Bharat’s TV show “Radha Krishn.” After two years of the gap, she was informed to have been selected by the show’s makers. She then made her television debut in 2018 with Star Bharat’s mythological show “Radha Krishn” and played the pivotal role of Radha. This show gave her a lot of recognition in the television industry. 

Afterward, she appeared in Super V and Nach Baliye (a guest). Before being featured in Radha Krishn, she had done several TV ads.

Mallika won the Indian Telly Award for Best On-screen Couple (Jury) with her co-star Sumedh Mudgalkar in 2019.
