Mannat Singh was born on December 24, 1981. Her birthplace is Amritsar, Punjab, India. Mannat completed her primary education in her native place, Punjab. She also did her graduation from Khalsa College, Amritsar. Later, she did not continue her studies and wanted to focus more on her career. 

Career

After her graduation, she started acting in Punjabi movies. Also, she was very active in modelling. 

Mannat Singh’s acting genre is based on comedy. Many characters played by her are well-known names in Punjabi households, like, Gurwindrer Ghuggi, Jaswinder Bhalla, etc. 

Mannat is a pretty famous actress in Punjabi movies. However, Mannat was restricted to Punjabi films until 2007, when she was offered a small role in the Hindi movie ‘’Apne”. 

Mannat came across the professionalism of the crew and the artists of the Mumbai film industry through Apne. Afterwards, she shifted to Mumbai and, since then, has lived in Andheri West Mumbai. 

Then, she worked in the Hindi movie ‘Haule Haule Ho Jayega Pyar’.

Initially, she struggled for roles in Mumbai. She met another struggling artist from Punjab named Daksh Ajit Singh. They found their love in each other and tied the knot. After their marriage, both succeeded in the industry. Later, Mannat worked in some movies like Dheeyan, Punjab, Mehndi Wale Haath and Tere Ishq Nachaya. These movies were also successful for her.
