Basically, he is most known for his performance as Sundar Lal in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, in which he co-starred alongside Dilip Joshi, Disha Vakani, and Munmun Dutta. Additionally, In the serial, he portrays Daya’s younger brother and Jethalal’s brother-in-law. Mayur is also Disha Vakani’s biological brother.

So in 2006, Mayur co-starred with famous Gujarati actors Hiten Kumar, Vikram Thakor, Firoz Irani, Minaxi, Mamata Soni, and Jayendra Maheta in the Gujarati romantic action film “Ek Var Piyu Ne Malva Aavje.

Later in 2007, he co-starred with Hiten Kumar in the superhit Gujarati film “Nahi Re Lajavu Tari Chundadi.” He was also seen in the Gujarati film “Sejal Sarju” alongside Hiten Kumar and Ramesh Mehta.

Later he joined TMKOC along with his sister Disha Vakani.

Basically, he portrays being Disha’s sister Sunderlal in the serial.

In addition to acting, he is a professional sculptor.

Initially, he was engaged in scandal after a businessman named Laljhibai Patel paid roughly 4 crores for PM Narendra Modi’s statue, wherein the Mayur too was engaged in the sculpting.
