Palkar’s first acting debut started in 2014. Particularly, this was for Majha honeymoon. It was for a short Marathi film. However, it was showcased in the 16th Mumbai International film Festival. In 2014 she also auditioned for a Bollywood movie. However, this was for the role of Imran Khan’s sister for Katti Batti. Also, the audition was a successful one. Palkar family stands as a conservative Marathi family. Moreover, She has been living with her grandparents since childhood. However, they are her maternal grandparents. She was also the part of Young theatre movement, Thepso. While she was working as a festival manager at Thepso, she met Dhruv Sehgal. Hence, Dhruv Sehgal suggested Mithila’s name to filter copy.
