Early life and family of Nakuul Mehta

Nakuul Mehta belongs to the royal family of Udaipur. He is also a descendent of Prithviraj Chauhan. Nakuul Mehta’s father is a veteran of the 1971 Indo-Pak War. Also, his great-great-grandfather Laxmilal Mehta was the chief militaria of the region in Mewar.


Nakuul did his schooling at Jamnabai Narsee School, Mumbai, and graduated from Narsee Monjee College of Commerce and Economics, Mumbai. He also holds a degree in Master of Commerce.

Personal life

Nakuul Mehta is married to Jankee Parekh in 2012. The couple also gave birth to a son named sufi in 2021.

Career of Nakuul Mehta

Nakuul also began his career with the Indian drama television series named Pyaar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaara. He then appeared as Aditya Kumar, a rich boy in Mumbai, along with Disha Parmar as Pankhuri Gupta. This show also got broadcasted on Star Plus from 2012 to 2014. He also hosted the reality tv show India’s Got Talent in 2015. In 2017, he also made a guest appearance in the reality singing show Lip Sing Battle.

Nakuul Mehta is also a trained dancer who can perform hip hop, folk, salsa, contemporary and jazz forms of dance. He is also a trained ballroom dancer whose teacher was the pre-eminent Bollywood choreographer Sandip Soparrkar.

He was representing Maharashtra in the All India Dance Sport Federation held in June 2011. Mehta won silver in the Latin Ballroom dance category. He was a gold medalist in the Standard Ballroom dance form.

He also voiced the character of Jai in the audible app audio show Mine and Yours Season 2 along with Sayani Gupta. Then he dubbed the voice of Ryan Reynolds’ character Blue Shirt Guy from English into Hindi in the movie Free Guy in 2021.

Nakuul Mehta also debuted the film industry with a Telugu movie titled Indian Beauty. Then, he essayed the role of Shekhar opposite Amita Pathak in Haal-e-dil. Moreover, he was a part of a short film named Avant Garde which premiered on film festivals across the Globe. He also played a role in the 2005 Telugu movie Abhimaani.
