Paras was born on 9 November 1996 in Bhandara, Maharashtra. He is 26 years old (as of 2022). He did his primary schooling in Nagpur only. Paras did his graduation from S.K. Somaiya College of Arts, Science and Commerce, Mumbai. Paras was born into a middle-class family. He has aspired to be an actor since he was a child. He also completed a Terence Lewis Academy diploma Programme and a Barry John Acting School acting diploma.

His father’s name is Bhushan Kalnawat. He was a well-known businessman in Nagpur. His mother’s name is Anita Kalnawat. He also has one elder sister. Paras Kalnawat’s father died after suffering a massive cardiac arrest. He was shooting on the sets when his mother called him to inform him that his father had been rushed to the hospital.

Career

Paras started his career with modelling. In 2016 he became prevalent in the modelling industry. He walked ramps for many fashion events. He has done ramp walks for famous designers, including Kunal Rawal, Monisha Jaisingh, Manish Malhotra and Narendra Kumar.

After this, he got a chance to make his television debut with the Star Plus channel show Meri Durga. With this show, he gained much fame in the television world. He played the lead role of Sanjay Prince Ahlawat in the show.

Subsequently, he worked in many television shows such as Mariam Khan – Reporting Live and Anupamaa. Currently, he is playing the role of “Samar” in “Anupama”. Samar is the son of Anupama. He made his OTT debut with the series “Dil hi toh hai 2”. After this, he was featured in web series like “Ishq Aaj Kal” and “Dil hi toh hai 3”.
