Career

Priyamani started doing modelling from school times only. She does modelling for print advertisements and for brands like Kancheepuram silks, Erode Silks and Lakshmi Skill. After that, the Tamil Film Director named Bharathiraja, introduced her to the film industry when she was in 12th standard only.

She started her acting career with a Telugu film named ‘Evare Atagaadu’ in 2003. Then, she made her debut in the Malayalam Film Industry, with a film named Sathyam. This film was a flop.

She also made her debut in Tamil in 2004 with the film name ‘Kangalal Kaidhu Sei’. Then, she started with the Telugu films in 2006, with the film ‘Pellaina Kothalo’. This film was a super hit and from this film, she got 3 other films offered. She came into the limelight with the film named ‘Paruthiveeran’, in which she played the role of ‘Muthazhagu’. She has also made appearances in many films.

Priyamani also made her debut in Kannada films in 2009 with the film named ‘Raam’. Then, she appeared in the film named ‘Raavan’, which is a Bollywood film. She also appeared in Bollywood famous film named ‘Chennai Express.

• When Priyamani shared her engagement news with her fans and well-wishers on Twitter in 2016. She was expecting blessings and good wishes from everyone but she received lots of criticism as well as nasty comments about her finance and family.
• Priyamani attracts controversy for her remarks over a rape case in May 2016. Those people rape and murder Jisha, who is a Government Law college student in Ernakulam. This case shocked the entire nation and many celebrities voiced their dissent over the recurrence of such an incident. Priyamani also took the help of Twitter and shares her agony.
• Mustafa’s first wife named ‘Ayesha’ delivered a statement in July 2021, in which she alleged that Priyamani’s marriage is not valid.
