Raashi Khanna was born on 30 November 1990. His birthplace is Delhi, India. Raashi did her schooling at St. Mark’s Senior Secondary Public School, Delhi. Then, she did her graduation with B.A. English (Hons.) at Lady Shri Ram College, Delhi.
She was born to a middle-class Hindu family. Her father’s name is Raj K. Khanna, and her mother is Sarita Khanna. Raashi also has one brother named Raunaq Khanna.
Raashi is also an academic topper which was a highly educated geek during her schooling and college days. When Khanna was young, she wanted to become a singer but growing up, she was more interested in studying and aspired to become an IAS officer. She claims she was neither interested in modelling nor thought of becoming an actress. Raashi believes it was her destiny that made her an actress. During her college days, Raashi tried a hand at copywriting for advertisements before she ventured into acting in various promotions before films.

Raashi Khanna made her debut in the acting industry with the Hindi political spy thriller film Madras Cafe in 2013. In this movie, she was Ruby Singh, the wife of John Abraham.
Then, she appeared in Manam in 2014. In 2014, she got her first lead role in the Telegu movie Oohalu Gusagusalade as Sri Sai Sirisha Prabhavati. In 2017, she appeared in Mollywood’s film named Villian. Raashi also acted in the Tamil movie Imaikkaa Nodigal in 2018. Khanna has also appeared in several commercially successful films like Bengal Tiger (2015), Supreme (2016), Jai Lava Kusa (2017), Tholi Prema (2018), Imaikkaa Nodigal (2018), Venky Mama (2019), Prati Roju Bandage (2019), and Aranmanai 3 (2021).
In 2022, she appeared in the psychological crime drama Rudra The Edge of Darkness. It was also her first digital debut.
