Rashmi Agdekar was born and raised in Mumbai, Maharashtra by her father Prakash Agdekar, and her mother Vandana Agdekar. She has a younger brother named Abhishek Agdekar. She belongs to a Hindu Family.  Her father Prakash Agdekar is a wealthy businessman and her mother is a homemaker.

Before pursuing a career in the film business, she attended school and college in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. She is quite close to her parents and frequently shares pictures with them on social media. Rashmi has also been seen with them several times. She is from a Hindu household and speaks Marathi. She also has Kathak dancing training.

Career of Rashmi Agdekar

Rashmi Agdekar began her acting debut in 2017 with the online series ‘Dev DD,’ in which she played the lead character of Chandni. In 2018, she made her Bollywood debut in the hit film ‘Andhadhun,’ in which she played Daani. She recently starred opposite Omkr Kularni, Visshesh Tiwari, and Chinmay in the TV mini-series ImMATURE as Chavvi.

She has been a spokesperson for a number of well-known businesses, including Goibibo, Cadbury Dairy Milk, Suzuki, and Titan Plus. Tu Bas Naach, a dancing reality show, featured her in 2018. She co-starred in the show with TVF’s Ahsaas Channa, Nidhi Singh, and Manvi Gargoo, among others.

In 2018, she was offered the part of Daani in Andhadhun, with Ayushmaan Khurana and Tabu, in her Bollywood debut.

The film was a box office success and won numerous accolades, propelling her career even further. In 2019, she starred in the online series Immature. After that she also appeared in the short film Rebecca as the lead character. It depicted the problems faced by young generations in today’s world.
