Sana was born on 10 August 1989 in Mumbai, Maharashtra. Currently, she is 34 years old. Her zodiac sign is Leo. She comes from a family of Muslims. At the young age of 5, she participated as a child artist in the television programme Hasratein. Shaikh attended St. Joseph’s Convent High School in Mumbai for her education. She then received her diploma from RD National College.

On January 14, 2016, Sana wed TV director Aijaz Shaikh. The wedding was held in a hotel on Mumbai’s Mira Road. They initially came into contact at a promotion for the second season of the television programme “Kaisi Yeh Yaariyan.” They then exchanged vows in a private ceremony on August 30, 2015. Television personalities including Digangana Suryavanshi, Pallavi Gupta, and Aniruddh Dave were present during her wedding.

Career

Since August 2004, Sheikh has been employed as an RJ at Radio Mirchi 98.3 FM. One day in class, while listening to Mirchi, she overheard an RJ urging listeners to submit an application to become a radio jockey. She was instantly requested to join the station as an RJ after a positive audition. With Mirchi Love and Ishq FM, she hosted the programmes “Khoobsurat, Sana ke saath,” and “TRP – Television Radio Par[citation needed] RJ.”

Sheikh started off as a child performer, starring as the young Savi in Hasratein on Zed TV and as Vaishali in the DD channel drama Junoon in 1995. She reemerged in 2009 and rose to recognition for her role as Ritu Shah, one of the main characters in the Kya Mast Hai Life Disney Channel India Original Series. Later, she portrayed Suman as the main character and lead actress in the Sony Entertainment Television (India) television series Jeet Jayenge Hum.

Sana made her Bollywood debut in Singham, directed by Rohit Shetty. She also played Avanti Bansal, the main role in Channel V’s Million Dollar Girl. In the well-liked programme Krishnadasi on Colours TV, she portrayed the protagonist character Aradhya. In the TV show Bhootu, she portrayed Shuchi Sharma, the main character.

In 2023, she appeared in Scam 2003. Tushar Hiranandani and Hansal Mehta are the co-directors of the 2023 Hindi-language biographical financial thriller television series Scam 2003: The Telgi Story, which can be watched online on SonyLIV.
