Shrenu Parikh was born on November 11, 1989. Her birthplace is Vadodara city of Gujarat. She is from a Hindu family. Her father is an engineer. Also, her mother is a banker from the profession. She also has a brother named Shubham Parikh in the family. The entire family of Shrenu lives in Vadodara. However, she moved to Mumbai alone due to her television work. She traveled to her hometown occasionally.

Shrenu Parikh had completed her primary education from the local school ‘Navrachana Vidhyani Vidyalaya’ of Vadodara. She was a brilliant and hardworking student. She was also good at acting and dancing since childhood. Moreover, she wanted to become Miss India. She was also awarded the Miss University title in her college days. Afterward, in 2008, she secured second place in the Miss Vadodara Competition.

Shrenu Parikh bravely revealed that she was sexually abused at the age of six in a public bus in an Instagram post in June 2018. She confessed that doing the scenes regarding molestation and speaking up against it in Ishqbaaz has made her realize the importance of standing up for herself and raising her voice against physical or mental abuse.

Career

Shrenu Parikh was ranked as the MOST DESIRABLE WOMAN of Ahmedabad by Times of India in 2017 and 2018.

Parikh debuted the film industry with Thodi Thodi Si Manmaaniyan as Neha Dutta in 2017.

Her second film was a Gujrati musical drama Lamboo Rastoo in which she essayed as Shruti Yagnik opposite Jai Soni in 2018.

In 2021, she appeared in a Gujrati political thriller series Kshadyantra as a materialistic greedy woman Shalini Patel. She also worked in psychological drama Damaged Season 3 as an ambitious and determined journalist Shanaya Roy in the same year.

Shrenu Parikh made guest appearances in Sitaaron Ki Vijayadashami as Saudamini and Nach Baliye 9 as a contestant in 2019. She also starred in a Punjabi Music Video titled Ek Dua by Rahul Jain in 2020.

She is a social activist. Shrenu loves spending her weekend teaching children from orphanages or the street side.

Shrenu Parikh has a beautifully melodic voice. She participated in Indian Idol Season 3 in 2006 but had to leave midway due to her 12th standard board exams.
