Early life, family, and education of Siddhant Chaturvedi

Siddhant Chaturvedi was born on 29 April 1993. His birthplace is Ballia, Uttar Pradesh. His father’s name is not known. However, his father is a Chartered Accountant. His mother is also a homemaker. Moreover, he was motivated towards acting right from his childhood. Also, his family moved to Mumbai when he was only 5-year-old. Then, he completed his Bachelors of Commerce from Mithibai College, Mumbai, Maharashtra.

Early career

In an interview, Siddhant said that before becoming an actor, he wanted to become a Chartered Accountant, just like his father. When Siddhanth was in college, he also won the ‘Clean & Clear Bombay Times Fresh Face 2012’ title. Afterward, he decided to take up modeling as his career. He has also received training in martial arts and western-classical dance to encourage his entry into the acting industry.

Career

Siddhant Chaturvedi started his career with modeling. He was also featured in a few TV commercials. Afterward, he joined a theatre group in Mumbai and did several plays. He not only acted in the plays but also wrote dialogues. During one of his plays, Luv Ranjan, film director, noticed him and offered him the role of “Sahil Hooda.” This role was for the TV serial “Life Sahi Hai.” However, he came into the limelight after working in Excel’s Amazon Prime web series “Inside Edge.” 

Afterward, in 2019, he made his debut in Bollywood with the film “Gully Boy.” This movie also starred Ranveer Singh. Here, he also played a supporting role in the film. Afterward, he became a household name for his performance in Gully Boy. He was also awarded Best Supporting Actor for this role.

His recent works

Siddhant also appeared in Bunty Aur Babli 2, starring Rani Mukherjee, Saif Ali Khan, and Sharwari Wagh. He then appeared for the romantic drama Gehraiyaan. In this movie, he played the lead role opposite Deepika Padukone and Ananya Panday.

He also began shooting for Bhoot Phone with Katrina Kaif and Ishan Khatter. Also, his upcoming film name is Yudhra, directed by Ravi Udyawar.

Siddhant also won Clean and Clear Bombay Times Fresh Face in 2012. Then, in 2013, he won Clean and Clear The Times of India Fresh Face. He also won the Best Supporting Actor Filmfare Award for Gully Boy.
