She played the role of Darsheel’s mother Maya Awasthi. The film received appreciation from the audience. Fir this film she won the People’s Choice: Stardust Best Supporting Actress Award.

Her next hit film was Firaaq. For this film, again she won the award for Best supporting actress.

In 2013, again she appeared in the movie “Dil toh Baccha hai Ji”. She did a small role in the movie “Oh My God”. In 2016, she wrote and produced a short film “Chutney”. She also played the character of Vanita in the film. This film won the best short film award in the Jio Filmfare awards. Tisca also won best actress award for her amazing performance.

In 2019, she appeared as Dr Sandhya Joshi in the film Good Newzz. This film also starred Diljit Dosanjh, Kiara Advani, Kareena Kapoor and Akshay Kumar.

In 2022, Tisca Chopra is playing the role of Meera, Bheem’s girlfriend, in Jug Jugg Jeeyo. Jug Jugg Jeeyo is an upcoming hindi comedy-drama film directed by Raj Mehta. This film is produced by Viacom18 Studios and Yash Johar, Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta under Dharma Productions. The film features Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani, Anil Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor, Manish Paul and Prajakta Koli. This film is scheduled to release on 24 June 2022 in theatres.
