Tushar Pandey is a well-known Indian actor. He works predominantly in Bollywood. Tushar is best known for his character as Mummy in the 2019 film Chhichhore. He entered in 2015 in the psychological thriller Beyond Blue: An Unnerving Tale of a Demented Mind. This movie was also premiered at the Marché du Film at the 68th annual Cannes Film Festival.

Early life, family, and education of Tushar Pandey

Tushar Pandey was born on 22 November 1991. His birthplace is New Delhi, India. He also belongs to a middle-class Hindu family. Also, he did his primary and secondary schooling at Montfort Senior Secondary School. During his school days, he participated in stage plays, music and sports competitions. After finishing school, Tushar got admission to English Honours at Kirori Mal College. Moreover, he entered through the special theatre admission (selection for exceptional talent in arts). Tushar was also a part of ‘The Players’, the theatre society of the college.

His professional training and career started at the National School of Drama. This school is one of the most prestigious theatre schools in Asia. In addition, Tushar got trained in physical theatre. He also finished advanced training at the London International School of Performing Arts, London. He was also awarded Inlaks Shivdasani Foundation International Scholarship.

Career

Tushar Pandey’s first film appearance was in Rang De Basanti. In this movie, he appeared as one of the students auditioning for a documentary role. Tushar played a supporting role in the 2016 acclaimed film Pink alongside Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu.


Afterwards, in 2019, Rajshri Productions launched him in a lead role in their youth film Hum Chaar. Again, in 2019, Tushar was seen in Chhichhore, alongside Sushant Singh Rajput and Shraddha Kapoor. The film was directed by Nitesh Tiwari and became one of the year’s big hits.


In 2021, he appeared in Happy Marraha Theory. He also appeared in the movie Homecoming aired on Sony Liv. He also played a part in the Aashram Series. Then, in 2022, he appeared in Titu Ambani Titu movie.
