Varun began his career as a commercial model while he was studying in junior school. One day a famous director saw his talent and gave him the opportunity to work with him. Gradually, he gained recognition as a commercial model and then appeared in the advertisement of popular brands. Brands like Flipkart, Surf Excel, Hamleys Toys, Dabur, Kinder Joy etc, has featured him.

Varun worked in the many films in different languages. He made his acting debut on television with the “Love Sleep Repeat” serial. In the same year, he was featured in the serial “Happily Ever After” and “Bulbul”. He appeared in the “Tara Teri Akhaan Da Maa” music video. In 2022, he is seen films like Toolsidas Junior and RRR. The movie “RRR” became a huge hit.

His upcoming projects include a few movies and short films like Bazaar, Bully, Prithviraj, and Lets Fly with My Paper Rocket which are going to release in the coming days.

Apart from being an actor he is also a video content creator. He runs a YouTube channel of his own. He has gained thousands of subscribers on his YouTube channel. On 21 January 2013, he launched his channel and uploaded a debut video titled “Shivam dance video”. The name of his channel is “Varun Buddhadev”.
