Yashika Anand was born on 4 August 1999. Her birthplace is New Delhi, India. Her sun sign is Leo. Also, she belongs to a Punjabi family. However, there is not much information about her family members. After some years of staying in New Delhi, her family moved to Chennai, India. Moreover, she completed her primary education at Sherwood Hall School in Nungambakkam. 

Career

Yashika Anand also began her career with modeling when she was in 7th grade. Initially, she also aspired to become a pilot. However, the scary stories of the plane crash and hijack, which her father used to tell her, put away her from the thought of becoming a pilot. She also began acting after being an Instagram model. When she was only 14, she was filmed for Inimey Ippadithan in 2015. She was also alongside Santhanam. However, her role was later deleted after she could not attend a song shoot. Afterward, she appeared as a swimming instructor in the movie Kavalai Vendam in 2016. This movie also became her first theatrical release.

Yashika’s breakthrough was in the 2016 film Dhuruvangal Pathinaaru. This movie was also shot on a small budget. However, the film was successful and won recognition for its cast members. Yashika then appeared in Paadam in 2018. In the same year, she also appeared in the movie Thambi Ramaiah’s Maniyaar Kudumbam.

She then appeared in Iruttu Araiyil Murattu Kuththu in 2018. This movie was also an adult comedy film. She also appeared alongside other actresses such as Vaibhavi Shandilya and Chandrika Ravi, and the film performed well at the box office.
