Brec Bassinger (born May 25, 1999) is an actress from the United States. Bassinger rose to prominence in the recurring role of Emma in The Haunted Hathaways from 2013 to 2014, and subsequently starred as Bella Dawson in the Nickelodeon series Bella and the Bulldogs from 2015 to 2016. She debuted as the titular character in the DC Universe and The CW series Stargirl in 2020.

Bassinger was born in the Texas town of Saginaw. Her mother lives with her, but the rest of her family is still in Texas. She used to be a basketball player, volleyball player, and track & field runner. Bassinger competed in beauty pageants and was the winner of Our Little Miss World.
